Ms Hwang is a Consultant with the firm. She was educated in Malaysia, Hong Kong and in England graduating in Law from the University of Brunel, England. Ms Hwang qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1981 and was subsequently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Hong Kong in 1982. Ms Hwang is also admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Ms Hwang ran her own firm in Hong Kong for nearly 20 years before joining Hastings as a Consultant where she has remained for more than a decade. She is experienced in general commercial, conveyancing, Immigration, company work and has a general interest in probate matters. Essentially, Ms Hwang is experienced in areas of work generated by requirements of high networth individuals both within and outside Hong Kong requiring a broad overview in many aspects of general practice.
Ms Hwang is conversant in English and Chinese dialects mainly, Chiu Chow, Cantonese, Hokkien, conversational Putonghua.
