Audrey joined Hastings & Co. as a Senior Associate of the Intellectual Property Department in January 2023.
She graduated from the University of Leeds, England (LL.B.) and obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (P.C.LL) from the University of Hong Kong. She was also admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales.
Audrey has extensive experience in dealing with intellectual property matters, including trade mark prosecution, licensing, and assignment for Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China and foreign countries. She offers tactical advice to clients regarding the protection of clients’ brands and trade names. She also handles trademark enforcement work and advises clients in cases of infringement of clients’ registered and unregistered trade mark rights. In addition, she has experience in handling copyright clearance and advises clients on matters relating to copyright infringement as well as risks involved in various kinds of commercial activities including promotion through the cyber space. She has experience of attending copyright infringement hearing in the People’s Republic of China.
Audrey speaks Cantonese (native), Mandarin (fluent), English (fluent) and Japanese (conversational).
